State to State with Roe vs Wade next stop Idaho

The U.S supreme court overturned Roe vs Wade back in June 2022. The gut wrenching decision banned the right to abortion. Idaho is a very conservative state, The Alliance Defending Freedom has asked the supreme court to allow a law that penalizes those who provide abortions.  Doctors have criticized Idaho's near-total abortion ban, which allows abortion only to save a pregnant woman's life; this is very vague and ignores the complexities of pregnancy. Idaho was sued by the Justice Department in August 2022, claiming it violated the federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act. A federal district judge sided with the Biden administration, blocking the provisions of the ban that contradict the labor act, making abortion treatment illegal regardless of the patient's condition. I stand firmly in being Pro choice. It is your decision to do whatever you want with your body yet conservatives have the need to want to control everything. The Biden administration is trying their ...

How does the New York times handle journalism coverage in china

The study the article is focusing on is investigating the use of political keywords the New York Times decided to use when covering stories in China between 1980 and 2020. The article finds that the newspaper primarily focused on economic and financial coverage, but ultimately majority of the coverage was overshadowed by the negative sentiment on territorial issues. This created a profile that the New York Times views China as a self-interested perspective. This is giving minor insight to national and international news coverage. Since 1978, China has consistently emphasized the importance of stability in its political discourse. The term "stability" is often used alongside other words to describe the fundamentals of a decent life, such as a peaceful existence, a functioning legal system, economic prosperity, and opportunities for personal and social advancement. This tradition is deeply rooted in China's traditional political philosophies, which emphasize the right to r...

NO MAGA NO

Make America Great Again (Maga) Republicans Already have an agenda for Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s Second Term assuming he’d win the 2024 Republican Presidential bid.   Everyone Remembers January 6, 2021 , and the disgusting acts that were carried out by Trump’s Gang. Due to the sore loser ’s unethical mentality trump has pushed his bias point of view about the 2020 election on his supporters. T he littl e campaigning that has been done is Trump trying to assure his supports that he still firmly stands in his beliefs that the 2020 election was rigged and stolen from him . Well , I hope the white house is prepared to add babysitters to the pay roll because even with a victory for Maga the constant damage control needed for the overgrown toddler that’s likely to win the Republican Presidential bid will be crucial.       The agenda has a thousand - page policy that outlines several different controversial policies amongst the United States and oth...

Lets Discuss American Foreign Relations

America has several committee 's it's even a committee to be in a committee at this point. It is without a doubt a new thing to do, to address the rising problems across the globe. Nathan Dane is a representative from Massachusetts who played a major role in shaping American Foreign relations during the articles of confederation.  “The said states hereby severally enter into a firm league of friendship with each other, for their common defense, the security of their liberties, and their mutual and general welfare…”  I have come to realization after taking a few classes like international Diplomacy, Intro to International Relations and Intro to Comparative Politics that defense alliances just cause more problems in the long run because regardless each country is always going to think of the greater good of their own country resulting in some form of a hidden agenda. For example, If you do something for me i'm now obligated to do something for you so we'll never be even....
